How does booking work?
Browse our roster, choose an artist and service, pick a date and time, share your address. Payment is handled securely through Stripe — pay in full, or a deposit with the balance charged before your appointment. Your artist confirms within a few hours.
Where in Australia do you operate?
We're based in Brisbane and currently service South East Queensland — Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, the Scenic Rim, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. New regions open whenever we onboard artists worth opening them for.
Do I need to pay a deposit, or the full amount up front?
Your choice. Pay the full amount at booking, or pay a 30% deposit now and we'll automatically charge the rest to your saved card 48 hours before your appointment. Either way it's all handled securely through Stripe — no awkward Venmo requests on the day. If you choose the deposit and we can't collect the balance (for example, your card fails and isn't updated), the booking may be cancelled and the deposit isn't refundable.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — free cancellation or reschedule up to 7 days before your appointment, refunded in full. Within 7 days the booking is non-refundable, as the artist has reserved that time for you. You see this before you confirm.
Who comes to my house?
Only the Miroir-verified artist you booked. Their identity is verified during onboarding. You'll see their photo and details in your confirmation.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
Tell us within 24 hours and we'll make it right — full refund, partial refund, or a make-good with the same or another artist. We're a small team, you'll talk to a real person.
How are prices set?
Each artist sets their own prices. Miroir takes a commission from the artist — you pay the price you see, with no booking fees on top.
I'm an artist — how do I join?
Apply at /artists/apply. We review every application personally. You'll hear back within a week, whichever way the answer goes.
